A web browser that shows websites with bigger text. The address bar and buttons are bigger too. You can start without signing up.
What it does
Text size
In Settings, tap - or + next to text size to make the address bar and page text smaller or bigger. It starts at 1.2x, and you can choose anywhere from 0.8x to 2x. Turn on bold text to make letters sharper.
Search
Type a search term or website address into the large address bar to open the page. You can also tap the microphone button to search by voice.
Home screen shortcuts
Naver, YouTube, Coupang and Daum are on the home screen from the start. You can add sites you visit often and change shortcut names and addresses. Favorites and recently visited sites can also be reopened from the home screen.
Light and dark screens
Choose one, or let it follow your phone’s display setting.
Data saver
Turn it on to use less mobile data by cutting down images and autoplay. Tap an image you want to see to load it.
Pop-up blocking and phishing protection
Automatic pop-up windows are blocked from the start. Links you tap yourself open as usual. Phishing protection is also on from the start. It blocks downloads of files, images and risky install files. On sites that aren’t secure, a warning asks you to be careful when entering personal information.
Tabs, sharing and default browser
Keep several sites open in tabs and switch between them. Send the page you’re viewing with the share button. Set it as your phone’s default browser and links tapped in text messages or other apps open in big text too.
What it doesn’t do
- It doesn’t ask you to sign up.
Good to know
- With phishing protection on, file downloads are blocked. Turn it off for a moment in Settings when you need to download a file.
